During our 2 year stay in Boston, my go-to Afternoon Tea place was The Taj Hotel in the Back Bay. I can't say it was the bestest I've ever had or even that the decor and atmosphere was stunning, but, it did fit the bill of what one would look for in an afternoon tea experience. I think the rooms could have done with a little more decorating since it always felt kind of drab, and with Boston weather the way it is, making the indoors nice and inviting is that much more important.
Anyhoo, here are pics from another occasion of The Taj Afternoon Tea with one of my favorite buddies from HBS :)
Our tray of delights and Maggie trying to look busy and not be in the direct view of the camera haha
Our table by the window...see how drab it looks outside? I think it was actually a pretty rainy cold day outside...
Being the little piggies that we were, we also ordered the Fruits and Cheese platter in addition to our afternoon tea :)
Maggie and Me, happily stuffed from tea sandwiches, pastries, fruits and cheeses :)
Me--Rick Owens Bronze Metallic Leather Classic Funnel Neck Jacket (draped over my chair), Lanvin tee, Stitchs Linx Grey Jeggings, and Chanel Blue Metallic Python Reissue flap bag 226 size
Yes to all of the above!!! :) :)
And come visit, we will definitely do tea and loads of other food!!!!
