Thanksgiving in Toronto Day 4!

 

Our second to last day in Toronto...gosh, it sure flew by quickly!!!

I will miss you TO, hope to see you soon...I actually quite love Toronto, if it was farther south and had weather like L.A., I'd strongly consider moving here...alas, that is not possible...so L.A. it is for me! :)

 

 

 

St. Lawrence Market was so cool, my head was spinning with all the food options!!

I could think of ONE little doggy (Bow Wow) who would've loved one of these...though I think some of them weighed as much as Bow Wow LOL

 

 

We've never really had "real Canadian" cuisine, and when we walked past this sign, we figured it was only natural for us to try this "Famous Peameal Bacon on a bun."

Hmm...we had our doubts about the "yumminess factor" of this peameal bacon on a bun...and we were right...sadly, this thing tasted like cardboard meat in a cardboard bun =X ICK!!!

I think there is a reason why Canadian cuisine hasn't exactly taken off LOL

 

 

Thankfully I found some yummy South American oxtail soup near Chinatown later on...

After checking out a bunch of outdoor shops around Kensington Market near Chinatown, Peter and I decided to find refuge (and lunch) at King's Noodle :)

Outside Eaton Centre...love all the lights, Toronto has the perfect balance of city/suburb feel to me....it's bustling enough but not as crazy packed and dirty as NYC, but also more compact than L.A...AND most importantly, you can still drive around Toronto without almost getting crashed into by a cab every 5 seconds!!

On our walk back to the hotel, we came across this Kenzo Ramen place...and being our usual "piggy" selves, we were like "oooohhhh looks yummy...lets just share a bowl as our midnight snack" :)

 

And in we went...

 

 

 

 

 

Tonkotsu Ramen at Kenzo--let me just say, this was DELICIOUS!!!!

How could we not have known about Tonkotsu Ramen all this time until this random incident in Toronto?!!!!

 

 

Yes, I made sure to get every last drop ;)

Well, we loved Kenzo's Tonkotsu Ramen so much, we were back there bright and early the next morning as they opened haha
