Who would have guessed that on a small street right near Target in Watertown, MA, housed a cozy small family-run Italian joint?
Our neighbors back in our Watertown days recommended Grappa to us and we finally gave it a shot when Peter came across them on Groupon LOL (yes, we're somehow obsessed with these Groupons, BuyWithMe, LivingSocial deals haha)...it helps direct us to try new places we would not have come otherwise across or known about.
Toasty garlic bread--came out promptly but I would say its a bit too toasty (hard) for our liking, even the center wasn't soft enough...and I like my garlic bread with loads of garlic and BUTTER!! extra bonus for cheese too!
Clams with Linguine in White Sauce--pretty yummy, pasta was done well, but overall not much taste to it
Carbonara with Pancetta--oddly, you'd think this would be bursting with flavor with all that cream and egg in there, gosh, if I'm about to eat this much calories (not that I've ever counted =X) it better be damn tasty and this was not *sad face again*
But, we should not waste food right? Plus our only other option at that hour in Watertown was Dominos pizza (pretty sure Pizza Hut at Target had already closed or run out of pizzas!)
Hmm..sadly you can't tell from these pics and I forgot to take outfit pics but I'm wearing a Hanii Y marine blue silk blouse with a black bow in the front...I love Hanii Y's feminine looks!
So, Groupon has helped you to taste this yummy, mouth watering and delicious foods! Good photo shots!
