Peter and I ventured out to Blue Ginger with another HBS couple during Restaurant Week this past March.
Not only was it super far out (in Wellesley--and we usually don't mind driving) but it was also super average, lets just say we wish we had gone to PF Changs instead if we were doing "chinese-american" type food.
Nothing was bad per se, but everything was just very blah and the seasoning and spices just didn't blend very well together.
Anyhoo--here are pics of what we ordered:
Shiitake-Leek Springrolls with Three Chile Dipping Sauce--maybe it was our mistake but mushrooms with leek in a springroll did NOT = YUM
Organic Mixed Green Salad with Crispy Onions & Shallot-Pommery Vinaigrette--this was okay, probably my favorite item, but come on, this is a regular salad haha
Grilled Marinated Hangar Steak with Braised Beef Cheek-Root Vegetable Hash--PZ said this was pretty tender and alright, but once again, nothing fabulous
I can't recall the exact name of this dish but it was some Pan Roasted Salmon, not much flavor to the salmon and a bit dry...didn't love the sauces either
As you can see, we were both so sad with the meal, we totally forgot to even take pics at the table haha...
