Before Christmas even hit this year, we had a MEGA snow storm, too bad we didn't capture any pics on camera...spent most of that morning looking out our window at people shoveling and trying to dig their cars out (sadly I will admit we were laughing too at some people who were shoveling for what seemed to be a LONG time...we'd take Bow Wow out, come back--still shoveling, get some tea and breakfast, come back--still shoveling...)
I also made Peter drive me out to Saks since I was told there was a Jo Malone Brunch event which of course didn't happen because no one else could get to Saks to run the event I'm sure. Peter felt very cool though driving thru the thick of it all in his Escapoo (I call his escalade this to make it sound less cool haha)
Anyways, the first day of winter was December 21st and I already am over winter...gahh, winter has barely started--growing up in LA sure skewed my perspective and understanding of winter/snow/ice. I used to think it only snowed at night while I slept and that snow was in the shape of snowflakes and once I woke up--I would see the wonderful soft plush snow, but then it disappeared (didn't know it turned into slush and then slippery dangerous ice patches and muddy gross slush that lasts for days even weeks later!!)
Without further adieu: here are our Chwistmas Pics of 2009 =)
